A fiercely talented actor and an ace performer is headlining a generation and rewriting the rules. Whether it’s owing to the massive success of her movies or endorsing varied brands, Shraddha Kapoor’s augmenting star-power is beaming more than ever.

Shraddha has maintained a balance in her acting career, straddling between roles from mainstream cinema and independent cinema with equal ease. Portraying the gritty and edgy role in STREE has redefined versatility and raised the bar for fellow competitors. Shraddha’s name is now used as a synonym for Stree and this is an achievement in itself.

Her career is filled with unconventional roles and her unique choice proves that she is more comfortable and confident than ever with her craft and the way her career is progressing is commendable. Her journey is admirable as her success is based on her willingness to take risks and proving her mettle as an actor. On being offered a pivotal role in a multi-starrer and big banner project, Shraddha went with her instinct and decided to not do it, and the film eventually tanked at the box-office. Her self-assurance and her intuition are what drives her to select or reject a project.

Her recent releases SAAHO and CHHICHHORE have paved the way to top for Shraddha and her versatility seems to have no bounds. SAAHO was her first-ever PAN India movie and the critical appreciation she received for her acting is remarkable. This also marked her entry into the southern part of the country with SAAHO releasing in Telugu and the viewers have accepted her wholeheartedly. Contrary to this, in her second release this year, CHHICHHORE being devoid of glamour, she dwindled between two generations and aced her performance. It wasn’t the easiest of roles for her, but she stepped out of her comfort zone and met the challenge gamely.

Shraddha doesn’t fall into the clichés of being the typical Bollywood heroine, rather she manifests a truly modern woman, and she is in no mood to take rest. Tasting the best of 2019, Shraddha is preparing herself to rule 2020 with her upcoming projects Baaghi 3 opposite Tiger shroff and Street Dancer 3 opposite Varun Dhawan. She shares a great camaraderie and immense screen presence with both the talented co-stars and the fans are waiting to see the two Jodi’s captivate the audiences.

Shraddha experiments with the characters she plays on-screen even if they mean to be far off from her own personality. The preparation for films like Baaghi 3 and Street Dancer is physically and mentally taxing on its own as well. She hasn’t savoured the success of her last movies and instantly indulged herself in preparing for her upcoming movies which are slated to hit the screens early next year.

As long as Shraddha remains fearless, doesn’t give in to the lure of haven and continues to opt for the “open sky”, she can be the face of a modern game changed environment.
