Abhishek Bachchan has been roped in to star in and as BOB BISWAS, which will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment along with Sujoy Ghosh’s Bound Script Production. The film will mark the directorial debut of Sujoy’s daughter Diya Annapurna Ghosh. The film is slated to go on the floors early next year and will be readied to be released later in 2020 as well.
Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing the lead opoosite Vikrant Massey in Anand L Rai’s next production, which will be co-produced by T-Series. Vinil Matthews, who helmed Hasee Toh Phasee, will be directing this film which is going to be a mystery drama. Some portions will be shot in the North, though the makers are yet to decide on the locations. The rest of the details are yet under the wraps. Watch this space for more!
Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani will be coming together for a Dharma Productions film which is going to be directed by Shashank Khaitan. The yet UNTITLED film revolves around three characters and is currently in the scripting stages, with the makers planning to take it on the floors by mid 2020. Watch this space!
Kangana Ranaut will now be turning a producer with her first film, titled Aparajitha Ayodhya, which is based on the Ram Mandir case. The script of the film is being scripted by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the creator of the Bahubali series. The film will go on the floors early next year. Mustafa Abbas’s next, after making his debut with MACHINE in 2017, is going to be Sarim Momin’s Khabees. The film which is produced by Mohaan Nadaar is touted to be a thriller. The film also stars Siddhant Kapoor and Tanishaa Mukerji in important roles. The first poster of the film was also released this past week.
Priyadarshan who is working on the sequel of his film HUNGAMA, HUNGAMA 2, has found his leading actors for the film in Meezan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash who will soon be making her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn in Bhuj: The Pride Of India. But that’s not all, besides the two leads, Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal will also be a part of the film. The film will also see Shilpa returning to the big screens after a hiatus.
