Anil Kapoor recently came on board for a TV show on Colors Rishtey, Navrangi Re which tells the story of the dangers of the living in unsanitary conditions. The show is set in the small town of Uttar Pradesh and is also on the lines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. It is an entertaining show which is dealing with an important issue. On the work front, Anil Kapoor will be next seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla. The film, directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, will release on February 1, 2019.

Buzz was strong that Deepika Padukone was approached by a big studio regarding a superhero film. Now Deepika has confirmed the same to be true. She has also said that she is working with her associate on it and it’s still in developmental stages. We hope the idea nurtures soon and it will be great to see Deepika in a superhero role which will be a first for a woman in the Indian film industry.

Mukesh Chhabra has been reinstated as the director of Kizie Aur Manny, with all baseless allegations and complaints against him being officially cleared. The filmmaker has been shooting the film for the last 2 weeks and will next travel to Paris in the first week of January for the next schedule of the film. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi.

Veteran actor Kader Khan has been hospitalised in Canada where he lives with his son and daughter-in-law. Kader Khan is said to be suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a disease which causes loss of balance, dementia and difficulty in walking. The actor also showed signs of pneumonia and was hospitalised, after which he was put on the BiPAP ventilator because of his deteriorating health. Despite the doctor’s trying thei best to improve his health, his condition is fragile. We at Super Cinema wish the actor a speedy recovery.

The anticipation for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s BHARAT have been high. The film which is set in different eras will have Delhi of the 1950s recreated in Film City, Mumbai for the last leg of the film. The last schedule of Bharat will begin in January which will be dedicated to the climax scenes. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt. Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series releasing Eid 2019.

Janhvi Kapoor who made her debut with DHADAK has begun working on her upcoming film which is going to be a biopic on the life of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena, who was India’s first female combat aviator. She was recently spotted in a studio on Mumbai donning her look from the film. Also, according to rumours, Angad Bedi will be replacing Dulquer Salmaan in the film, who was the original choice to play Janhvi Kapoor’s love interest. The film is going to be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Sunny Deol who is all set to launch his son Karan Deol in his directorial venture, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas has already started prepping to launch his youngest son  Rajvir Deol in Bollywood. Rajvir is already assisting his father in his brother’s debut film. Watch this space for more!
