‘Badhaai Ho’ is tipped to be a coming-of-age story with a tinge of romance. The genre is a family comedy yet unconventional and presented as completely normal. The film brings out a completely different concept and in a small way normalizes things which the society makes a mountain of. The film has a strong ensemble cast, which brings beauty to the film.
The soundtrack of ‘Badhaai Ho’ is pretty much a mixture of all occasion songs be it a title song “Badhaaiyan Tenu”, that hilariously celebrates the embarrassment t of Ayushmann’s life. It’s funny, peppy and memorable in the opening to the soundtrack of the film. “Morni Banke” is giving us a reason to celebrate. The lively number recreated by Tanishk Bagchi is a catchy duet with singers Guru Randhawa and Neha Kakkar. On the other hand, we have “Nain Na Jodeen”, which is an undercurrent of heavy, heartbreaking emotion running through it, sung by Khurrana, Neha Kakkar and Kohli. The song is a lovely take on heartbreak and longing. And then comes the music settled in a different tone. With “Sajan Bade Senti” the song hits the high notes of fun, celebration and a tiny bit of mischief to add some sparkle to the album.
