‘Bank Chor’ is a crime comedy fi lm with some hidden thriller which may surprise us. The film is directed by Bumpy and produced by Ashish Patil. The first look of the trailer gives us quirky feel which might grab us to watch the light hearted comedy film. ‘Bank Chor’ is slated to release on 16 June, 17 and here’s what we think might work in the film’s favour.

A comic-caper, that tells the story of 3 people trying to rob a bank that pick the worst day possible when everything that can go wrong, and how they’re inadvertently caught in the crossfire of cops, industrialists and corrupt politicians. After show-casing the coolest and smartest thieves in ‘Dhoom’ franchise, the makers are back with the same theme, but with a hilarious twist. The film also features Vivek as CBI officer Amjad Khan, who shoots first and interrogates later. Apart from the two lead characters ‘Bank Chor’ also features Rhea Chakraborty who portrays the role of a fashion journalist turned crime-reporter. The film seems to be very hilarious from the trailer itself.

As the title track of ‘Bank Chor’ plays, just like the trailer, we are introduced to the crazy thieves who conduct a hawan before robbing a bank and refuse to steal money from the bank locker as there is an idol of lord Ganesh kept in it. The title track is composed by Kailash Kher which seems to be funny. Riteish Deshmukh who is taking us on laugh riot in ‘Bank Chor’ also has one more hilarious song named ‘Laag Gayi Tashreef’. This song is shot in Jail which is a different concept altogether. The makers are further promoting the film with a ‘Cup challenge’ which the song features. Hence, the song has already gotten quite popular. It is an earworm all the way.

As we have all seen the quirky trailer which is humorous, that’s not where it ends. There are more such Posters and videos made up where there is no link with the story of film but yet it makes us laugh. Like ‘Tubelight’, ‘PK’ and such film posters are photoshopped and Riteish is put up there, along with it also there is one hilarious chat show with Riteish where we could see even Trump with him, which will surely make you laugh. The film’s marketing campaign gives us the flavour of the film and is well describing its tone. All this was never done before for a film, this unique marketing strategy seems to help the film to achieve their goals. Finally, here’s a film that has come up with a unique promotional strategy as per its flavour, concept rather than following the formulaic route.
