Director Mohit Suri and his wife and actress Udita Goswami have been blessed with a baby boy. While they have an elder daughter named Devi, they welcomed the baby boy this past week and have decided to name him Karrma Suri. We at Super Cinema wish the couple our heartiest congratulations.

This week will see the release of one of the most anticipated films of the year in 2.0. The film’s release was pushed back due to the extensive VFX work but now the film is ready to release and it is releasing in a grand manner. The film will be released on 6600-6800 screens in India, making it the widest release of all time. Directed by Shankar, 2.0 is slated to release on November 29, 2018 in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.

Acclaimed actor and director Andy Serkis has reinvented Rudyard Kipling’s beloved masterpiece as a dark tale of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. The film will premiere as Netflix original movie. That’s not all, actors Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Jackie Shroff have lent their voices for the dubbed Hindi version of the film. Anil Kapoor will play the role of Baloo, the bear. Madhuri Dixit will be seen as Nisha, Abhishek plays Bagheera – the black panther, Kareena Kapoor Khan as Kaa – the python and Jackie Shroff as Shere Khan – the tiger in Netflix’s version of Mowgli. The film will premiere on 7th December on Netflix.

With the single ‘Slowly Slowly’ T-Series marks its foray into the international music scene with Pitbull collaborating with T-Series’ most popular artist Guru Randhawa. While finer details will be revealed closer to the release, what is known right now is that ‘Slowly Slowly’ was shot in picturesque locations of Miami The music is produced by DJ Shadow Dubai, MKSHFT, BlackOut, RedMoney & Vee. the music video is expected to release shortly.

Fox Star Studio and Vishesh Films are set to join hands yet again for a three film deal. While the first venture that the two mega production houses will collaborate on is Sadak 2 featuring Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Alia Bhatt, they are yet to announce the next two ventures.

This past week it was reported that there has been a plagiarism lawsuit filed against filmmaker R Balki’s MISSION MANGAL by US based filmmaker Radha Bharadwaj. But the maker has come out and outright denied these allegations and has maintained that MISSION MANGAL is an original screenplay by Jagan Shakti. The film is already on the floors and is scheduled to releason on 15th August 2019.

The Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga – Made in India will now being shown to village folks across 12 small towns of the country to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship in them. Approximately 200-300 people, in each town, are set to attend these screenings. In Madhya Pradesh, the film is being shown at Sidhi, Katni, Vidisha, Khandwa and Rajgarh. In Rajasthan, the film is being screened in Banswara, Chhitorgarh, Kota, Sikar and Pali.
