AVENGERS ENDGAME has surpassed all expectations everyone had before it released and gone way beyond that. The film at this point is just smashing records left, right and center and it just doesn’t look like it is going to stop. It’s predecessor AVENGERS INFINITY WAR had collected net 155 cr INR in week one in India but ENDGAME has already gone one and collected net 269 cr INR in it’s week one, meaning the film has done 67% more than INFINITY WAR.

That’s not all, the film is likely on it’s way to doing a business of at least a net of 360-380 crore lifetime and in all probablities can reach the net 400 crore mark as well, making it only second to BAHUBALI THE CONCLUSION in lifetime collections in India. ENDGAME has already become the highest grossing film of 2019 on India, surpassing
the lifetime business of URI, within a week of its release.

Besides this, ENDGAME has also become the highest ever grossing Hollywood film in India. According to figures from Disney, the film had by Wednesday brought in approx INR 283 cr in the country, surpassing previous record holder The Jungle Book, which collected approx INR 265 cr during its entire theatrical run in India. Endgame achieved this milestone on its sixth day of release and by Thursday, the film’s total haul reached approx INR 302cr. One of the major reasons that the film has done what it has is due toh the fact that there were round the clock screening of the films happening in India, which meant more screens which not surprisingly ran housefull even for the midnight shows.

ENDGAME is not just breaking records in India, but also worldwide. It broke the half-billion-dollar barrier in China on Thursday, becoming the most successful foreign film ever in the country after just over a week in theaters. India is the fifth biggest international market for the film, with China leading with $500 million, followed by the U.K., Korea and Mexico. The film in an astonishing $1.2 billion globally in its opening weekend. In the USA, the film also broke the highest opening weekend taking over STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS with $357 million.

It is safe to say that it won’t be done making and breaking records anytime soon. Uptil now for the film, breaking the reocrds has been as easy as snapping fingers.
