Our Opening Day Prediction

‘Golmaal Again’ is the most awaited film of the year. Watching the trailer itself feels like a reunion of all the other sequels of the franchise. It looks very refreshing amidst some niche, serious films we’ve had this year so far. Might make up for perfect Diwali dhamaka as it’ll hit the theatres on October 20.

The trailer of ‘Golmaal Again’ has finally been out and it was much awaited. All the actors seem to have the perfect skills to tickle our funny bone. The three minute of the video shows that there are few paranormal activities going around them which make them realise they’re surrounded by a ghost. That is when the fun journey starts. The dialogues and punch lines are the best part of the trailer which seems to be more quirky in entire film. Parineeti is the fresh female face in the film along with Tabu on the other hand. So, despite the fact that the trailer reminds us of its earlier installments, it still has an element of freshness.

The ‘Golmaal’ franchise started from the year 2006 and then later it was followed by ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Golmaal 3’ and now ‘Golmaal Again’ which would be the fourth installment. Till date ‘Golmaal 3’ has been the highest grossing film which broke all the records, so now let’s see how the upcoming part breaks all the other records. Because this is the only comedy genre franchise which has been entertaining audience and watching the trailer it seems like ‘Golmaal Again’ will continue to do so.

The cast of the film is what keeps the audience engaged. The constant ones are Ajay Devgn, Shreyas Talpade, Tushar Kapoor and Arshad Warsi. These four are perfect with their comic timing, and this time Parineeti and Tabu are also part of the film which gives it a fresh look and adds a new flavour to the film. Other supporting actors which have entertained us in all other installments are still part of the film, hence ‘Golmaal’ has not lost its essence yet.

A Rohit Shetty film has its loyal followers who enjoy the drama, comedy and action to the fullest. Call it a connection – but a Rohit Shetty’s film has carved a place for itself in audiences. So much so, that the audience can just spot a Rohit Shetty film from the trailer itself.
