‘Guest In London’ was touted to be the sequel of the famous ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge’ but the actors have been saying it’s a new film all together, although with the same essence. The familiarity with ‘Atithi…’ coupled with the response to the trailer of the film, makes us look forward to ‘Guest in London’. Here’s why we think the film will do well, especially through word of mouth, if it lives up to the expectations…

The ‘Atithi’ connect

People still vividly remember ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge’ – for its brilliantly relatable comedy, the dialogues and amazing performances from such a great ensemble cast. In a lot of ways, ‘Guest in London’ will bring audience to the theatres because of the relatability and recall value which ‘Atithi…’ has.

Paresh Rawal

Can we deny, he’s one of the best actors we have and his comic timing is inimitable. People have already loved him in the trailers of ‘Guest In London’ and he’s clearly one of the USPS of the film.

The new cast

Kartik Aaryan will be seen along with Kriti Kharbanda in the film, who was last seen in ‘Raaz 3’. Kartik is still remembered for his monologues in ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ and has a
great connect with the youth. So, the younger cast along with veterans like Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi will pull in audiences from different age groups.

The genre, relatability

A good comedy film is always yearned for. People look forward to a genuine comedy which will refresh them. ‘Guest in London’ seems like the kind of comedy is which genuine and relatable, not forced. Also, the whole concept has a lot of connectivity as well. It it has good content, with positive word of mouth, it can definitely bring in great footfalls at cinema halls. ‘Guest In London’ is set to release on July 7.
