This film is in the realm of ‘The Dirty Picture’ and films like ‘Mere Humsafar’, Sitara’, etc. A wannabe star Julie (Raii Laxmi) has to go through the grind to be a star, be it the casting couch, lecherous producers, the slimy secretaries and managers who want to exploit her beauty but she refuses to compromise as she feels she has a lot of talent to make it as a star but her step father (Yudishter), her loving mother (Dolly Minhas) want her to sleep with various producers (Brij Gopal, Anant Jog) but still Julie refuses as she is a firm believer in Jesus and Mary and her mother seeks the refuge of a veteran hairdresser- and make-up artiste (Rati Agnihotri) who takes her to a kind director Mohit (Nishikant Kamath) who launches her but the financier Khanna has other ideas and again Julie refuses to compromise and loses out on films but then she too gets short of funds and to keep the home fires burning, she takes on films which requires her to use her body and beauty and she becomes a big star with the help of a South star (Ravi Kissen), and a don but she seeks true love which she never gets and becomes frustrated. She goes to dance tours and cricket matches and becomes friendly with a top cricket star who too uses her. She wants marriage but no one can give her that. She gets an offer to do a bio-pic on a political leader Sumitra Devi whose husband (Pankaj Tripathi) is involved in murdering her and Julie comes to know about this and hides the incriminating chip in a locket of Jesus and a top cop Devdatt (Aditya Shrivastava) solves the case and punishes the wrong doers and gives justice to Julies death by a jewelry heist gone wrong when Julie is made the target of the shootout.
