Kartik Aaryan seems to be in a fine form, and it surely seems like there is no stopping him. This week saw the release of his film PATI, PATNI AUR WOH and it has had a wonderful opening. This is shaping up to be his third film in a row which has done tremendous business at the box office. Before this it was LUKA CHUPPI, which released earlier in the year in March, which went on to do INR 90 cr at the box office, prior to it was SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY, which also did a great number when it released last year.

He has just kept growing with each film that he has done. He just gets better and better with every film from PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA to his latest now, PATI PATNI AUR WOH. From films with comedy at the core, he’s grown and in fact has grown as a man who is now shouldering the responsibilities of big films and has finally found a niche for himself in the industry and he has become a strong contender to his contemporaries and he is really working his magic at the box office.

He has shown that he has a flair for doing what he does, and the masses have seen that and appreciate that and are reciprocating. If it was ever unclear before, it is becoming clearer now that he has a star pull of his own and masses love what he does and how he does it. PATI PATNI AUR WOH opening to a big number like this, despite the clash that it had with PANIPAT, is a testament of that. This is also very crucial for young actors like him to establish themselves in the longer game of Bollywood.

We always thought that he is a good actor, but he is quickly turning himself into a star, and there is a major difference in being a star and being an actor, especially in our industry. His next few releases are also massive; on the Valentine’s day of next year, he has his next with Imtiaz Ali releasing, where he co-starring with Sara Ali Khan. Besides this, he is also working on two big sequels in BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 and DOSTANA 2. So there are a lot of big films that are coming up and the way that he’s found his groove right now will just help him transition into a much bigger zone of being a star.
