Dinesh Vijan again seems to bring something different to the table as a producer, through his film ‘Luka Chuppi’ in which it’s refreshing to see Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon as a pair for the first time. Laxman Utekar makes his directorial debut with this one. Every love story has its quirks and this seems to be quite interesting, from the promo while it showcases the subject of live-in-relationship, a modern trend in our society.  We believe the film will strike a chord with the audience, here’s why.

‘Luka Chuppi’ gives to us a funny yet dramatic glimpse of these two characters played by Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. The story revolves around the couple that leads to a complicated love story, where the guy proposes the girl to marry him but the straight forward, open minded girl wants to be in a live-in-relationship before getting married and then decide. The hide and seek game begins when the unmarried couple pretends to be married. Do they get married in the end or they confront their truth to their family? Will be a wait and watch situation. The film is currently the talk of the town with its lively star cast and a fresh storyline.

The cast is one of the attractive factor we seek first in a film, because why not? Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan have gained immense popularity and have been critically acclaimed for their effortless acting skills. The chemistry between Kartik and Kriti looks vibrant and impressive together, and they promise us a full package of entrainment with this film. They seem to be on the same page, complimenting each other.

We have seen films in past that showcased about live-in-relationship but not broadly defined. Here, there’s also a twist that it’s a live-in relationship with the family as well. It’s showcasing one of the relevant topics in today’s time and age, considering how most of the couples can’t really decide if they are ready to get married and how it’s a trend of the modern society to be in a live-in-relationship. This film will somewhere acknowledge the audience about the pros and cons of live-in-relationship.

The soundtrack of ‘Luka Chuppi’ is getting quite popular with some famous numbers. To begin with the first song the makers released was, “Poster Lagwa Do” that has got fans hooked. This song will leave you humming all day long, recreated by White Noise studios, the song is fun and will make you groove to it too.  Just like the high-energy track “Poster Lagwa Do”, “Coca Cola Tu” has become the next club tune that youngsters are shaking a leg to. “Coca Cola Tu” has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and vocals given by Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar, along with a rap segment featuring Young Desi.  On the other hand, among the peppy tracks we have a romantic song “Photo” it’s a beautiful expression of love and has a timeless melody, also “Tu Laung Main Elaachi’, is a fun Punjabi song to groove during wedding season.
