“We forayed in Bollywood with right thought process and we here to stay.”

What made you come to Bollywood?

I have been an ardent movie buff all my life & grown up on regular dose of Hindi Films like lots of other people in India. Bollywood always attracted us & had this desire to be a part of it in some way or the other. So when we got this opportunity to make Tera Intezaar we grabbed it with both hands.

When One of our associate came with this idea of making a Gujrati film, we started from there and our dreams grew bigger & bigger. We then decided why stick to regional cinema; might as well make something which is of national consumption.

How did you zero in on this film?

We set up base in midst of bollywood, met dozens of directors & heard loads of story ideas. When we finally met our director Raajeev walia & heard this story, we felt this movie has a great scope & it’s not something which is routine. We told him to develop the story & that’s how Tera Intezaar happened.

Arbaaz Khan & Sunny Leone in your first Bollywood venture, how did that come about?

When we locked our script we always wanted to cast Sunny Leone for the role of Raunak & Arbaaz Khan in the painter’s role. It’s unbelievable that we could manage to meet both of them, do the narration and singed them in less than a month. So for us life was easy with right people on board. We have a fantastic team which is our strength.

What’s Tera Intezaar all about & what must audience expect from the film?

Tera Intezaar is a musical thriller & has something for everyone. Our songs are a huge hit & already climbing the charts. It has a wonderful story & our director Raajeev Walia has shot it beautifully. He has really brought out best from everyone & results are there for everyone to see. Tera Intezaar has thrill, suspense, love & little bit of spiritual bend.

From the trailer film looks beautiful & wonderful locations, where have you shot the film?

We have shot the film in different locations right from Ramoji film city to scenic Mauritius, Mumbai city & also in one of the beautiful palaces in Kutch. The song we shot in Kutch was shot in a very expensive palace. It’s not a film location but because we belong to Kutch we managed to get the permission to shoot in that palace.

Tell us something about the music?

With beautiful Sunny Leone & dapper Arbaaz Khan romancing in the film, we had to have really great songs. We wanted melodic songs with meaningful lyrics. Raj Ashoo was quick to get to the soul of the film and the songs he composed were very apt. He has given wonderful music. We had best of singers singing in the film.

Word on lead pair of Arbaaz & Sunny Leone & the director Raajeev Walia?

They both are very professional, Arbaaz bhai is an amazing human being so is Sunny. We being first time producers, they have been very cooperative. They went with director’s vision, he had his own space & managed to shoot the film exactly the way he had it in his head. We are now waiting for audience to love the film as much we enjoyed making it.

Whats next for Bageshree Films?

We come from construction background back home in Gandhi Dham. We forayed in Bollywood with right thought process and we here to stay. It’s not only passion but also business for us. We did not step in to go back. We will continue to make meaningful cinema. We are looking at other scripts already so will announce our next soon. Would like to thank my associate producers Ruby Prem Singh, Pankaj Thakkar & Manoj Sanghavi for believing in us and being part of our dreams.
