Qarib Qarib Singlle is a Bollywood romantic-comedy movie, the movie stars Irrfan Khan and Malayalam movies’ fame Parvathy in the lead roles. The movie showcase the story of two quirky people, Jaya (Parvathy) and Yogi (Irrfan Khan). They happen to meet on an online dating app and plan an adventurous trip. The unusual and crazy incidents that occur during their travel make the trip an unforgettable experience for both of them. The quirky, chirpy, shaayar Irrfan and the modern outlook Jaya make two opposites who come together on a journey through various terrains and on flights and on trains and they come closer but Jaya is set to meet her former boyfriend (Luke Kenny) in Gangtok and Irrfan too is seeking his dumped girl friend, (Isha Sharvani), and though both of them like each other, it is a bit difficult for them to express their liking to each other.

The film is well scripted by Kamna Chandra from her own radio play and her daughter Tanuja has done full justice to the film. The music is good but the performances by Irrfan and Parvathy hold the film. The outdoor locations are beautifully filmed. Brajendra Kala’s cameo is hilarious. Siddharth Menon is good in a brief role. Neha Dhupia looks stunning and is very commendable in a brief role. Navneet Nishan shines in a brief role.

The film has taken a decent start and with good word of mouth the investors should recover their investment.
