Ranveer Singh is to likely begin shooting for Rohit Shetty directorial SIMMBA from June 2018. The shoot was supposed to begin this month but had to be delayed as Ranveer has suffered an injury to his hand. The movie is going to be shot in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Goa. SIMMBA also stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer and the film will release on 28th December 2018.

This actor has walked out of one of the big movies he has been offered recently. The reason is that the movie on offer was a two hero film and he is not too keen in doing that kind of a movie at this stage in his career. His last few movies have not fared well at the box-office, but it is nice to this actor hold his ground and staying true to what he believes in.

Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in to the main draw of this year’s IIFA Awards weekend. The Awards are going to take place in the last week of next month in a South East Asian country (the destination is going to be revealed officially soon). Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will be coming together for the first time for a horror comedy, STREE. The cast have shot extensively in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, the team has wrapped up its extensive schedule in the small town. STREE already has songs that were shot in town but the makers have decided to come to Mumbai to shoot a promotional song. So despite the fact that Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have finished work on the film, they will be returning to it to shoot this promotional song. The said song will be a peppy number to be choreographed by Vijay Ganguly. The film is written by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, and produced by Dinesh Vijan, will be directed by Amar Kaushik.

Kunal Kemmu seems to have joined the cast of Karan Johar’s ambitious project KALANK. The project is already under floors in a suburban studio in Mumbai. Kunal is supposed to have an important role for him but the details of the same are kept under wraps. The film already stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Kiara Advani and Kunal are the latest to join the cast. Kalank, directed by Abhishek Verman and produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment is slated to release on April 19, 2019.

Sidharth Malhotra, who was last seen in Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary, is all set to start work on his next film soon. The film is a biopic on Captain Vikram Batra who is a Kargil hero and a winner of Param Vir Chakra. The yet UNTITLED film has now been announced officially. The biopic on the Kargil war hero will be written by Sandeep Shrivastava and directed by Vishnu Varadhan. The film will be co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production and Shabbir Boxwala. According to the buzz, the biopic will be set in Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, and Dehradun.

John Abraham starrer ROMEO AKBAR WALTER is going to be shot in Kashmir. The film is expected to be extensively shot in Gujarat, Kashmir, Delhi and Nepal. It is being said that a two-month schedule has been planned for the cast for the same. It has been added that after the Kashmir leg, the team will be flying to Nepal for a major schedule. The film also stars Jackie Shroff in a prominent role. The film is directed by Robbie Grewal and produced by Kyta Productions in association with VA Films and Red Ice Films.
