This film is about the marital relationship between a career minded woman Shahana (Kalki Koechlin) and her understanding but a work-alcoholic husband Karan (Sumeet Vyas). Kalki doesn’t want a baby as her boss tells her only she can handle the work assigned in the office but Sumeet insists on a baby and then Sumeet goes off to Lonavala on an engineering assignment with better prospects and there is a babysitter to look after the baby but her work is not up-to the mark and so Kalki dismisses her and in her office she is marginalized and demoted and then she seeks work in a new office and then out of the blue her daughter is a victim of abuse and that sparks a row between her, Sumeet and the school authorities. The film is directed in a realistic way and can be termed as a Hinglish film. An urban centric movie with a difference.
