SALMAN KHAN WHO IS CURRENTLY BUSY….
Salman Khan who is currently busy shooting for BHARAT is now all set to star in a cop thriller. The said film will be a remake of the hit Korean film Veteran. Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production have acquired the rights from Korean Production, CJ entertainment for the film. Although an official announcement of the same is yet to be made, but Salman will be seen donning the cop avatar in the screen again, besides the DABANGG franchise. Watch this space!
Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi’s upcoming film, based on the 2014 hit film THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, an adaptation of the book by the same name, has now been titled DIL BECHARA instead of KIZIE AUR MANNY. This announcement was made this past week. But, that’s not all. Saif Ali Khan has also been roped in to play the role of author Peter Van Houten. William Dafoe portrayed the character in the original film. The film is directed by Mukesh Chabbra and produced by Fox Star Studios.
Pankaj Tripathi has bagged his first international project where he will be seen working alongside Chris Hemsworth in DHAKA. The principal portions of the film were shot in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The film also stars Golshifteh Farahani, David Harbour, Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee amongst many others. Pankaj will be joining the cast in Bangkok to shoot the next leg of the film. DHAKA, written by the Russo Brothers, will see Manoj Bajpayee essay the role of an Indian don whose son is kidnapped and is rescued by Hemsworth’s character, and will be released on Netflix.
KANPURIYE starring Aparshakti Khurana, Divyendu Sharma and Harshita Gaur went on the floors this past week in Kanpur. The film also stars Vijay Raaz, Chitranjan Tripathi and Rajshri Deshpande in the film. The film is a coming of age film of the three friends from Kanpur. The film is directed by Ashish Aryan and produced by Yoodlee Films.
After starring in several films in Bollywood, Daisy Shah has been roped in to play the lead in a Gujarati Film GUJARAT 11. The film will mark her debut in the Gujarati Film Industry, where she will star opposite Prateek Gandhi. In the film, Daisy will be seen playing the role of a Football coach. The film directed by Jayant Gilatar, is expected to go on floor by 11th of February 2019.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui who was recently seen in the film THACKERAY will be seen as a passionate lover in his next film which is titled BOLE CHUDIYAN. The said film will be directed by Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. The film will be shot in the start to finish schedule of 45 days. It will go on the floors on May 1st and will wrap up by June 20 and will be readied for a release in October. The female lead in the film is yet to be finalised. The film is produced by Rajesh Bhatia and Karan Bhatia of Woodpecker Movies.
While we see Pankaj Tripathi bagging his first Hollywood film, closer to home, in Bollywood, he has been roped in top play Man Singh is Ranveer Singh starrer ’83. Man Singh was the manager of Team India during the 1983 World Cup.Besides Ranveer, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jiva, Sunny Kaushal, Chirag Patil, Sahil Khattar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Vijay Verma, Ammy Virk and Hardy Sandhu. Directed by Kabir Khan, presented by Reliance Entertainment and Produced by Madhu Mantena, Vishnu Induri & Kabir Khan, ‘83 will be releasing on 10th April 2020.
