Super 30 based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar has been garnering buzz ever since it was announced and Hrithik Roshan was brought in to play Anand Kumar. The film revolves around the mathematician’s educational program super 30 in Patna. Roshan is in a never-seen-before avatar and the trailer is also making the right buzz. Here’s a detailed analysis on why we think the film will do good at the box-office.

The story of an underdog making it big and inspiring people – somewhere always strikes a chord in people’s heart and the audience definitely roots such stories. More so, if it’s a real story brought on-screen. It’s a story of a common man who decided to rise above the disability of the society. It revolves around mathematician Anand Kumar’s educational program Super 30, where he selects 30 talented students and trains them for IIT/JEE advanced entrance program. A real-life story like this, finds great connect with the audience and hence is expected to arouse curiosity for cine-goers to come and see it.

With his body of work, Hrithik Roshan has proved that one can associate him with great work and films that have something novel or larger-than-life. He’s also choosy about the work he is doing and he’ll be seen after a while, post ‘Kaabil’. The actor also moves away from his Greek God image, in a role that is driven by the story. He is in a never-seen-before avatar and completely seems to have sunk his teeth into the character. His fans will look forward to seeing him in this biopic.

The posters and trailers have reached out well. The tagline – ‘Raja Ka Beta Raja Nahi Banega, Raja Wahi Banega Joh Uska Haqdaar Hai’ has created a lot of impact. The audience have got a glimpse of the story and will look forward to the entire film and how Roshan pulls off this character.

In the last few years, we’ve seen that content-driven stories are lapped upon, and real-life stories also arouse further curiosity since many have been witness to it. While cinema has always been looked upon as a larger-than-life medium and fantasy land that transform people into another world – one can’t miss the fact that today the audience loves to see things, real and authentic. Such films have worked big time in the recent past. So, going by the trend, ‘Super 30’ might also find a good footfall in cinema halls and further do better with positive word of mouth.
