Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill, Parambrata Chatterjee, Sachin Khedekar, Divya Dutta and Kitu Gidwani. Their lives are connected with a big mission, to transport a heart from one hospital to another in a very short span of time covering a long distance. A police constable (Manoj Bajpayee) who gets a second chance to redeem his life and get his respect back, accepts a challenge which is refused by his seniors. Manoj Bapayee’s performance has many layers depending on the situation. His character is shown as someone who is very calm under tensed situation. This quality is portrayed in a scene where the mission goes haywire in the middle of a forest. But Jimmy Sheirgil (Police commissioner) is a hurdle in this miraculous mission as he cites several logistical issues which the people in power didn’t approve. Being answerable to the city for holding up traffic, he is in a dilemma to take this mission ahead. How he manages the situation? Jimmy has reached such a stage that whatever he does, he makes a solid impression. Both Manoj and Jimmy who are seen in most part of the film hold the film well through their raw and gritty performances. The film is a remake of 2011 Malayalam movie based on a real life incident in Chennai when a special corridor was created to transport a heart from one hospital to another. And was remade in several other South languages successfully. The film will keep you engaged with its brilliant execution by late director Rajesh Pillai and remarkable performances by the ensemble. Also to be noted is Sachin Khedekar performance as a father who goes through a personal loss. He plays his part really well. Divya Dutta as a wife of a superstar has a lot of teary eyed scenes which she manages to pull it off quite well. The climax is the high point which gets your attention back to the film.  All in all a sensitive well made film. See it.
