Our Opening Day Prediction

Here’s a biggie which we’ve been waiting for, ever since it was announced. Considering the banner, the cast – there’s been immense curiousity around it. And of course the trailer has been getting a good response. We think, ‘War’ will strike gold at the box-odffce and here’s why!

Somehow, Tiger Shroff has always been compared to Hrithik Roshan – considering his dance movies, body and greek God looks. The latter obviously does remain irreplaceable but considering the fact that Tiger is one of the most bankable action star/actor in the country among the younger lot, it’s a treat for the audience to see them together. Ofcourse, this pairing and team is one of the greatest USPs of the film and the reason for immense anticipation surrounding it. The two also have a face off, in the film and that’s pretty interesting too. Everyone’s waiting to see how they are as a team, and who wins in case of a face-off! Not to mention, seeing them both dance together is not less than a treat.

The trailer looks great and highlights all the right factor working in the film’s favour. It sends the message clear that the film’s USP is the fact that these two actors are coming together in a full action packed scenario. The visuals look great and so does the action.

The music has gotten extremely popular especially ‘Ghunghroo’ and ‘Jai Jai Shiv Shankar’. Also, the latter has gotten more popular because of these dancing stars. These songs have become chartbusters and complete earworms which further will stimulate curiosity among the film.

As the film is set to release on 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanti, it’s expected to have more footfalls. It clashes with ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ which looks huge as well. But both these films have their own distinguishes and USP and the latter might work more in certain areas. Considering it’s a holiday, both should get their share of audience but eventually, it’s the content and word of mouth which will decide. CinemaPrediction BuzzBollywood Trade Magazine
