COOLIE NO. 1 COMING TO AMAZON PRIME VIDEO!

Director David Dhawan has forever been a filmmaker who makes his films for the masses but that is going to change for his 40th directorial venture COOLIE NO. 1. In the new normal of the entire Covid-19 situation COOLIE NO. 1 now becomes another major Hindi release to come out straight to an OTT platform. Our highly placed sources have revealed to us that there was already a normal digital deal in place for the film to go on to Amazon Prime Video but now that’s been changed as the platform gets an exclusive world premiere sorted. The monies for which the film has been sold is extraordinary and it’s expected that the film will be releasing on the platform as early as next month. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles and is a remake of David Dhawan’s 1995 film with the same name. Pooja Films are the producers in the film. The film was originally slated to release on May 1st 2020 before the cinemas nationwide were asked for the government to be shut. Watch out for an official announcement of the film very soon.
