SHAHID KAPOOR’S NEXT

We last saw Shahid Kapoor in, one of, if not the biggest hit of 2019 in KABIR SINGH. A part of the blame lies with the tough times we are in with the pandemic which has now lasted for over a year and a half now. But meanwhile, he has been keeping himself busy. He currently has two big projects in his kitty already. One being JERSEY and the other being the period/mythological drama KARNA. Following these two, he is working on a show for Amazon Prime Video with Raj and DK. Now, according to our highly placed sources we hear that he is going to be working on a film which will be produced and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. This film will be designed and made to be released on OTT as well. From what we gather, the film is an adaptation of a French film Nuit Blanche (Sleepless Nights in English). The film is a thriller which revolves around a cop whose connection with the underworld has now come out in the open, which has put his child in danger, and how he saves his child form the rest of the story. The story here will be altered keeping the Indian sentiments in place. The story also pan over a single night and how Shahid’s character will fight against all odds to save his child. Besides him the makers are also on the lookout for a big name to star opposite him in the film. Watch this space for more updates on this one!
